Private Behavioral/Bond Consulting for Pet Owners
Phone consultations as well as in-clinic evaluations are available for those experiencing behavior/bond problems with their pets. The clinic, Westminster Animals Hospital, is located a mile off Exit 5 of I-91 and just across the Connecticut River from Walpole, NH. The rate is $125 per hour, with a $75 minium. The fee includes the consultation, hand-outs, and eight weeks email follow-up related to that specific problem.

Consultation topics include, but are not limited to, dog and cat aggression (toward humans and other animals), spraying and marking, chewing, clawing, digging and other destructive behaviors, separation anxiety, compulsive displays, possibly stress-related medical problems (irritable bowel syndrome, recurrent urinary tract problems, epilepsy, allergies, asthma), coping with the impending or actual loss of a pet, moving a pet into a new environment, introducing new pets into the household, and new pet selection.

All consultations will be approached holistically, i.e., the animal's health, behavior, and relationship with the owner(s) all will be considered, with cure rather than symptomatic treatment as the ultimate goal.
